@AvonandsomerRob I remember the first Japanese cars appearing in the 70s. Everyone said they were shit. Perhaps they were, but British cars were shitter
@modernheroestv@SimonMcCoyTV I've stopped using the adaptive cruise control. You can be quite happy in lane 1 until the car in front decides lane 2 is a better option. Lane 2 then slows and the cruise control sees an empty lane 1 and tries to undertake everyone.
@SandyofSuffolk Perhaps with the imminent ban on foxhunting coming. Some of the outdoors type folk could be repurposed to litter pick. They could all have lunch in the village pubs which would be amazing for the rural economy.
@stephenpollard I did one years ago. It was in a hotel, cost me 100 quid and I loved it. It was informative well presented we got coffee and biscuits, just like attending a conference. However the best bit was sitting in a room listening to the other "Delegates" winging about how unfair it was.
@OAPJo My mother will be 100 this year. She retired on a state pension at the age of 60. After 40 years of pension, two hip replacements, treatment for a brain tumor and years of free prescriptions. She will have far exceeded what she paid in. Yes it is a benefit.
@SandyofSuffolk If Mosques make you uncomfortable have you tried non- architectural products. There's a massive superstore on the northbound A12 or you could buy online.
