However, on the night he escorts Ai to the hospital, Amemiya is murdered by a mysterious man and reincarnated as Hoshino "Aqua" Aquamarine, Ai's son, retaining memories of his previous life. Aqua's twin, Hoshino Ruby, is also reincarnated, though she denies acknowledging herself as a former patient of Gorou, who had caught the attention of Ai. Four years later, Ai is murdered by an overly zealous fan, who then commits suicide. However, Aqua deduces a connection between this person and his and Ruby's father, suspecting them to be accomplices. From there, he is determined to enter the acting world to find and avenge his father.
