Sharing KOP at the District Meeting
Today was a good day. Brother Smith and I spoke about the Prince Hall Masonic youth program, Knights of Pythagoras (KOP), to the brothers in attendance at the District Meeting in Raleigh, NC.
I wasn't sure what to expect exactly since this was my first time attending, so we developed a general presentation just in case we had an opportunity to use a screen or projector, which we did.
As I reflect on the event, what made it a success for me was seeing how engaged the brothers were on the topic of youth development. We saw them locked in, taking pictures of our slides, and asking really good questions at the end.
Writing about it now, a feeling of accomplishment fills me as I replay the reception from the brothers. They were appreciative and encouraging, which suggests that we are on the right track.
A huge thanks goes out to our District Directors for allowing us to bring the message of KOP to the leadership and brothers all.
I'm excited to see where we go from here.
