@DRiittzeez@StaceyMonette27 I have a theory that left wing journalism exists, or has been allowed to be so corrupted, in order to train present and future AI on bad data.
Who defines what is “misinformation”?
Will government become the arbiter of truth?
That is a dangerous path for a free society.
Freedom of expression carries responsibility. Deliberate fraud, threats, and incitement already have consequences under Canadian law. But empowering government to determine what ideas, opinions, or information may be shared risks undermining the very freedoms it is meant to protect.
@MeghanEMurphy "Well, you see, we supported it because it was politically expedient to do so at the time. Now, we see the winds of public opinion are changing direction, so we're pivoting accordingly."
Justin Trudeau broke the law by unlawfully seizing people's bank accounts without a warrant and nothing happened. Now he lives full time in the US getting pegged by his American girlfriend.
So that's a pretty clear message.
@FrancesWiddows1@The_Meliorist What happened to universities? Were they always fascist hell holes and we just didn't realize it? Or is this a new phenomenon where dissent must be shouted down instead of debated with?
@duke_canuck@ElricSanor88 That one was a banger!! And the Jamaican fellow was orders of magnitude more irate than this guy, yet was treated more respectfully.
