@PinnacleAraneae I like how they're mostly sticking to the approach that if a song or sample sounded like what it was supposed to, they leave it alone.
@RhockoHarrison Not to be dismissive to people, but it really seems like a big reason DessKnight is the dominant theory is because right now her character can be whatever you want.
She's a skeleton key for theorizing because she's a borderline-hypothetical character at the moment.
@SenseiTomato@demifoid I see people insist the Knight is the embodiment of "moving forward no matter the cost" or some shit like that...
...Meanwhile Kris agreed to their plan, and Kris' dark worlds are fixated on the past and trying to force things back to how they were.
@Rox89716855@WiiULover1 It's not just that it "foreshadows" it, it's that it explains why Rudy as the Knight would create the chapter 2 dark world.
Also, if you look at the second two images in what I linked he explicitly knows places Noelle wants to go, which she says the Cyber World looks like.
@WiiULover1 Yep.
Chapter 2 shows us that Rudy and Noelle bond over adventure games, in the same chapter where the Knight put Noelle in an adventure game-esque dark world styled like places she'd like to go that ends up teaching her what he wants her to learn.
@Rox89716855@WiiULover1 He foreshadows the chapter 2 dark world in chapter 1, too.
He worries about Noelle being “defenseless”, and then the Cyber World just-so-happens to push her to stand up for herself (against a mother figure no less).

@WiiULover1 Rudy worries about Noelle being “defenseless” with Carol -> Cyber World pushes her to stand up to a mother figure.
Noelle says she wanted to go to a place like the Cyber City -> Rudy explicitly tells Susie “places she’d like to go” in chapter 2 weird route (big one people miss).
@_c3pn@PepitoFito Obviously the Dreemurs keep things from being 1:1, but the Undertale versions of Susie and Noelle are both around Frisk’s age when Undertale happens.
Gerson was alive in Deltarune at the same point in the relative timeline, but Rudy seems to be well-past his UT expiration date.
@Ashes2AshIey Honestly I’d say Asgore seems to have figured out an impressive amount, considering the lack of evidence.
Also I personally think Carol isn’t really involved with the Knight, or at the very least is less involved than she thinks she is.
@Ashes2AshIey It’s putting chapter 5’s clues next to clues we already had.
We’ve known for years that there’s Gaster-associated entities around. Chapter 4 implies Gaster made the prophecy, and also that something else was there on “that day”.
@amirazure The thing about Carol is that she’s been built up like someone who seems crueler than she is. According to Asgore, she’s a nice person when you get to know her.
Makes sense as a parallel to Rudy, who’s friendly on the surface but has moments of a meaner side bleeding through.
@jackorangefr Also, while I do agree with the theory overall, I think assuming they’re all real-time is a mistake.
Chapter 3’s shows Tenna GETTING smashed (the act happening), which both shows it’s not currently happening AND makes it clear we’re not seeing some dream fantasy.
@jackorangefr There’s flowers around at the hospital. It’s not like Flower King is the only place in town where flowers are.
I could imagine Carol getting the flowers herself and then giving them to Noelle. She seems like she’d be averse to that kind of vulnerability.
@fly_past_ladder@NukeConstructor@TemmieOrSmth99 WR has Carol still show up early seemingly without the call, and at the end she calls Kris with her normal voice at seemingly the same time as the “you promised” call.
