Speaking for myself I've never had a "surprise" at the grand unveiling stage. Never met any women built like brick sh*t houses with permanent 5 o'clock shadow doing nothing to mask a big Adam's apple or men with zero action going on in the groin zone that isn't visible even under trousers after giving them the old come on. Guess it's some kind of old school super power.
