@FrankLuntz After 2016, Democratic states changed their election laws making the illegal legal. Even then many of those same states didn’t follow the new rules in 2020. Republicans wised up and before the 2024 election changed back the laws and reinforced them.

@reason It is not an unserious budget nor singular budget item. There are really only a handful of items that SHOULD be the federal budget. ALL the rest belong, and should be sent back, to the states. A fully budgeted defense program clearly belongs at the federal level.
