Message to @EASPORTSFC 👀🚨 (Please Read)
Dear EA SPORTS Team,
We are writing on behalf of thousands of passionate FIFA fans from around the world with one simple request:
Please consider bringing FIFA 17 Ultimate Team back online.
Nearly a decade after its release, FIFA 17 continues to be remembered as one of the greatest football games ever made. Every day, social media platforms such as X, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit are filled with videos, discussions, and memories celebrating the game. The passion for FIFA 17 has never disappeared—it has only grown stronger.
Over the past months, the movement to bring FIFA 17 back has gained remarkable momentum. Nostalgia-driven content consistently reaches hundreds of thousands—and in many cases millions—of football fans. This is not just a small group asking for an old game to return; it is a global community united by a shared love for one of the most iconic entries in the franchise.
Some of the biggest names in the FIFA community have also expressed their admiration for FIFA 17 and the desire to experience it again. Creators such as @NickRTFM , @aa9skillz , and @NepentheZ have spoken positively about the idea, and their audiences continue to discuss the possibility of revisiting the game.
We fully understand that reopening legacy servers requires technical work, infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance. That is why we are not asking for this service for free.
We are willing to pay.
Whether it is:
A one-time purchase to download FIFA 17 again,
A paid server access pass,
A yearly subscription,
Or another reasonable pricing model,
we believe thousands of players would gladly support the project financially to relive the Ultimate Team experience that meant so much to us.
For many of us, FIFA 17 represents more than just a video game. It represents late nights with friends, unforgettable pack openings, intense Weekend League matches, discovering hidden gems on the transfer market, and building squads that truly felt unique. It was a game that created memories, friendships, and an incredible sense of community.
Reopening FIFA 17 Ultimate Team would not only preserve an important part of EA SPORTS' history—it would demonstrate that you value the community that helped make FIFA one of the most successful sports franchises ever created.
This could become one of the most celebrated goodwill initiatives EA SPORTS has ever undertaken.
We sincerely hope you will consider exploring the possibility of bringing FIFA 17 Ultimate Team back for the millions of fans who still cherish it today.
Thank you for your time, and thank you for the countless memories FIFA 17 gave us.
Kind regards,
The FIFA 17 Community

First of all, no you haven’t — but that’s literally irrelevant.
Second of all, all you’ve been trying to do all day is get impressions for your page and make more sales on your trading Discord by stirring up pathetic arguments and making outrageous statements.
@OnlySpeaksTrue I have probably played Fifa much longer than you my man lol
I have loads of old gameplay footage on my page, but I like them in the game. It's okay if others don't.
If you want to keep trying to insult you can continue if you like
People voting “no” can be put into two categories:
Category 1: Sweats who left-stick wiggle all game, don’t even try to play football, and basically live on the game.
Category 2: People who actually watch and enjoy women’s football.
If you’re Category 1, don’t even bother talking to me.
If you’re Category 2, fair play! 🤝
This is genuinely one of the dumbest arguments I’ve seen.
Yes, the problem is that some female cards are simply too good compared to the male player pool. That’s literally the point.
Male players are rated relative to other men, and female players are rated relative to other women. But then EA throws both player pools into the exact same competitive mode and acts like those ratings exist in a vacuum.
Ibarbo, Doumbia and Emineke being broken doesn’t disprove that. They were male players competing within the same male player pool. Comparing that to female cards outperforming players like Messi and Maradona is a completely different issue.
Stop getting offended on someone else’s behalf. Every time you post a take like this, the internet gets a little bit dumber.
“Waaaa waaa waaa some women are really good players in game it’s not realistic”
“OMG THEY GAVE IBARBO, DOUMBIA AND EMINEKE LOW LEVEL ICON CARDS JUST FOR BEING META CARDS ON OLD FIFA”
This is pathetic 😭
You clearly spend more time in the menus than actually playing the game.
Maybe stick to trading and let people who actually play FUT have this conversation.
Whenever you speak the truth, all the internet warriors crawl out of their little rat holes, desperately trying to feel like they matter.
No self-esteem, no purpose, no meaning — just endless arguing online.
Every comment and every retweet somehow makes the internet a little dumber.
Tweet by tweet. Comment by comment.
This really shouldn’t be controversial.
Give us Men’s FUT and Women’s FUT as separate modes.
Build a team from one gender and play against the same gender.
Why?
Because if EA wants FUT to represent football, the teams should actually represent the same competitive environment.
Men and women play in separate competitions, with separate leagues, separate physical standards and separate football ecosystems.
Putting them together and pretending the ratings can somehow be perfectly comparable is where the “realism” argument falls apart.
Women’s football deserves its own FUT.
Men’s football deserves its own FUT.
Everyone wins. Stop forcing them into the same mode.
