@beekeepershour #beekeepershour Any thoughts why my queen would leave the hive? I got her back in and she's stayed put but just after some alternative views. It was a mild day at 13 deg so the bees were flying busily.

@BeekeepersHour She's definitely back in - I found her in the melee outside the hive. I'll leave them for a couple of weeks and keep an eye on them. I didn't check for brood but they were bringing in pollen. If there was no brood; not much I can do about that now except merge with another.

@BeekeepersHour Lots of food - full super has lasted the winter. They have fondant too. Lots of space - the nucleus is not filling the brood box. Very little forage about - Blackthorn has just started flowering. It wasn't a swarm, no; far too little activity.

.@British_Airways my flight from Heathrow to Toulouse this morning was cancelled. I'd like a refund for that flight but I'd still like to keep my return flight I'm booked on. The website says I have to phone but nobody picks up when I do. Please help!
