One thing I've learned this year:
People can genuinely care about you and still not have the capacity to love you the way you need to be loved.
That's why self-respect is important. Sometimes choosing yourself means walking away from something you wish could've worked.
Another year celebrating my baby’s birthday. The love of my life who I have loved through several seasons, and who I will love through all the seasons he will exist💛
Happy birthday to me too🙂↕️
Period poverty affects education, dignity, health, and wellbeing for many girls and women.
Menstrual health should never be treated like a luxury.

I want to ask my uncle for money, but every single time I try, I get scared.
And the funny thing is… this man has never said no to me before. He has supported me through school more times than I can count. I even pray for him. I appreciate him deeply.
But still, when I need to ask again, my chest tightens. My mind starts asking questions like: “What if this time is different? What if he’s tired of helping? What if I’m asking too much?”
Does anyone else feel like this when they have to ask family for help?
