I don't talk on this Space, but I believe I should leave this here for someone who may need it....
TRUST YOUR EDGE. PROTECT YOUR MIND. I’ve been there.
You’ve spent hours poring over charts, back-testing your setup, refining your risk rules, and you finally feel something click. Your strategy makes sense to you. Then you hop into a trading group or check Twitter, and some guy with a blue check and “10+ years experience” drops a completely different take. Suddenly your conviction starts to crack. “Maybe I’m missing something. He’s been doing this longer…” Stop. That doubt is the silent account killer. Forex doesn’t reward the longest résumé. It rewards the trader who can execute their plan with discipline when the market is trying to shake them out. Experience matters, but only the experience that’s been internalized and turned into a repeatable process. Someone else’s analysis is just noise if it doesn’t line up with your tested edge.I’ve watched brand-new traders with clean psychology and ironclad risk management outperform veterans who’d grown arrogant and stopped respecting probability. I’ve also seen sharp veterans blow up because they chased someone else’s “obvious” setup instead of sticking to what actually worked for them. The market doesn’t grade on seniority. It grades on consistency and emotional control.
