@Lucaswoodland work in progress but my question is were these intentional or am i reading into it way too much?

[Holding Absence @HoldingAbsence]

This is Holding Absence. 2026.

[Lu @Lucaswoodland]

So, an AI “band” who cite us as an influence (ie, it’s modelled off our music) have just overtaken us on Spotify, in only TWO months.

It’s shocking, it’s disheartening, it’s insulting - most importantly - it’s a wake up call.

Oppose AI music, or bands like us stop existing.

@TheHomeTeamNW y’all have carried what little faith i have left in men on your backs for years now, thank you for creating such a safe space for people that need it

[Onyx @Onyx__rae]

I lost the best thing that ever happened to me in 2019, largely because this man was president. if you voted republican, it’s very likely someone you claimed to love just watched their rights get ripped away. and if they kill themself it is your fault.

The su*c*de rates are genuinely about to skyrocket and that makes my heart so heavy

[Onyx @Onyx__rae]

Didn’t think I was gonna finish this in time but the hurricane canceled work so we pulled through @colorblindtx

[Onyx @Onyx__rae]

@jennzich12 Thank you! Hopefully someone believes that enough to take these off my hands cause if I can’t get rid of them I’ll probably just paint over it for a band I can still respect

[Onyx @Onyx__rae]

With everything that’s come out about Julian Comeau I really don’t want these in my house anymore. However these paintings take me 20+ hours each and I’d rather not let that go to waste, so if someone wants an end of an era painting and is willing to cover shipping let me know

[Onyx @Onyx__rae]

Happy album release day to @telltalerva here’s the best painting I’ve ever made to celebrate (it’s also got some lines from Eddy A)
