The doctor is IN!
We’ve got the bandages, the "ouchie" juice syringe, and some very brave stuffies. Sparky’s getting a checkup and Mr. Turtle needs a giant bandage!
Payment accepted in leaves and twigs.

Building our very own well!
We stacked up old tyres and mixed a "top secret" batch of mud cement to keep them steady. He is already hauling up "water" in his bucket—even if it’s just air and imagination!
Best. Construction. Day. Ever.

And that’s a wrap on Term 2!
From exciting playtime to endless laughter, it’s been a term full of happy memories.
Our children ended it with joy, smiles, and lots of fun moments to cherish.

At playtime, the sand & water area was buzzing with creativity. Some children carefully picked flowers, while others joyfully flooded the sandpit to make their very own lake. So much teamwork, imagination & laughter in action! @OPAL_CIC #OPALAsia#PlayMatters
Back to school! The children are excited to see new changes, explore fresh play spaces, and make new friends. From wheel play at the front, to building dens, dressing up, and even enjoying our café corner — the buzz of play and discovery has already begun! @OPAL_CIC #OPALAsia
Play is more than just fun. It’s how children learn, grow, and connect with the world around them. At SCIPS, we are proud to create meaningful, playful learning experiences every day and today, we celebrated it in the best way possible! @OpalCic#InternationalDayOfPlay#OPALAsia
Summer is over and children are back in school. Children discovering new areas to play, making the most of their playtime while socialising and exploring together.
We supported the International Day of Play as we believe that play is important for children. Here is what we did that day. We will continue to support this in the future. We hope others do too #IDOP2024 @OPAL_CIC #PlayMatters
Today we celebrated the International Day of Play. Every student will have over 2 hours of play. They loved their mud pit, painting, face paints, tinkering zone and so much MORE. Look at the joy. Play matters! #IDOP2024 @OPAL_CIC
Only 6 days left to the #InternationalDayofPlay.
It’s a chance to celebrate the joy and creativity that play brings into children’s lives, nurturing their imagination, development and social skills.
Are you planning to celebrate the day? If so, how?
Here at SCIPS, we know how important play is to children. We will be celebrating the International Day of Play on Tuesday, 11th June, and are committed to giving all our students, no matter their age, over 2 hours of play in school that day. Who will follow us? @OPAL_CIC
This week we organised our 'Circus of Fun' performance. We had balancing, contortion, gymnastics... We organised it ourselves, made posters, and practised our acts. Look at the crowd who came to watch! We're so creative and had so much fun #OPALAsia @OPAL_CIC #playmatters
It’s a circus out here: one kid zooms on a trike with no hands, two are drumming like a confused rock band, another making funny bottle music, and a crowd watching a boy balancing on a turtle shell.
Tadpoles have been found in our pond and we are more than excited. Every day we come to observe them to see how they are growing #naturesway#playmatters#OpalAsia @OPAL_CIC
