When the requirements are unclear, I start by asking questions and clarifying them. If something can only be answered by running code, I open a separate task to build a prototype, then hand the findings back to the original task. For larger projects, I write a spec first, break it down into tickets, and open a separate task for each one. Once implementation begins, I follow TDD and finish with both a code-quality review and a review against the original spec.

What I love most about ChatGPT Work is that it doesn’t just help me “write more code.” It supports an entire way of working: knowing when to ask questions, when to experiment, when to break work into smaller tasks, when to hand off context, and when to stop and review the result.

This means large projects no longer depend on a single conversation that keeps getting longer and messier. It also significantly reduces the risk of writing a lot of code only to realize I was heading in the wrong direction. Each task has clearer boundaries, the process is reusable, and every conclusion is traceable.

The most powerful thing about ChatGPT Work isn’t that it replaces one particular step in the development process. It turns the engineering practices that once lived only in my head into a system I can actually run and repeat.

The more I use it, the more it feels like more than just a coding assistant—it feels like my personal development operating system.
