The Oxford West & Abingdon constituency is a Lib Dem/Conservative marginal. Why should the vote of those that live in this constituency have a greater impact than those that live in the Oxfordshire ‘safe seats’? In a democracy shouldn’t everyone’s vote have equal importance?
Hi @Tesco
On Good Friday I experienced the most awful and humiliating experience in your Hurst Park (Surrey) store. I popped in to pick up groceries on my way to visit friends. I used “scan as you go” as I always do, and paid £75.92 for my groceries, using my Apple Pay.

In her bestselling book "Minority Rule", @ayocaesar points out the injustices at the heart of our political system which marginalises young people and other underrepresented groups.

@amlivemon@France24_en The USA owes a debit to #France it can never repay. Without @France there would not be a USA. Without French aid the colonialists would have lost their rebellion.

In the 1980's Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher allowed the richest to buy all our Public Resources, then the billionaires used all the money stolen from you to buy the Government.
That is how we got to the hell we have now.
Time to take on the right over denying climate change. To indulge their nonsense is to risk both growth and a mounting civilisational challenge. Our kids deserve better. Promoting green growth does not make you an ‘eco-nutter’. It’s the only way forward https://t.co/P9D4wOJrdi
Personally I think the UK billionaires who are making £2m a day each, paying only 11% tax, less than a person on the minimum wage, and costing the same as 60,000 people on benefits each.
Are the ones taking the mickey.
In GE2019, the Tories got 56% of seats on 44% of the votes. In GE2024, Labour got 63% of seats on 33.7% of the votes.
We need to change this system so that seats match votes - voters should get the MPs and policies they vote for.

“Above all, electoral reform could incentivise so many apathetic voters back to the polls. It could also steer them away from populist politicians who would be all too glad to exploit public exasperation at under-representation and wasted votes – [..].” https://t.co/OFJLEQphLj
