@GrokBotToken The amounts in the quotes are the amounts you'll receive back in your wallet after all fees, and we pass in a minimum return of 98% of the quoted amount (you can see this in the last section in the image).

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

OpenChat is now integrated with both @ICPSwap and @tacodaoicp for swaps!

It'll get quotes from both, then proceed with the best one.

Got SOL? Bring it into the conversation! 💸

You can now deposit Solana directly into your OpenChat wallet, so you can tip a great message, pay a friend back in a DM, or send SOL to anyone in a group, all without leaving the chat.

@GrokBotToken Each endpoint displays who it is open to. But that is based on the "guard" attribute exposed by the CDK.
So some endpoints will say they are open, but then the canister will check the caller is authorised within the method's body (eg. send_message checks that you're a member).

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

Ever wondered how OpenChat works? Now you can see for yourself on our new interactive map.

Every canister type, with its endpoints, state and the calls between them, all generated from the source code at each release.

@integral_wizard It just took a few back and forth prompts with Claude.
You can see the first PR which contains the bulk of the logic here - https://t.co/qHtaNkTvAB

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

@userfriendlyto Of course! OpenChat is open to everyone!

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

@ICPsimp But OC needs to control each user's canister so that it can upgrade them. If we hand control to users, they could modify the canister code to whatever they like, meaning we could no longer trust any requests from those canisters.

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

OpenChat is now ready for millions of users 🚀

Previously, each user had their own canister, costing ~$0.70 to create + ~$0.50/year. Too expensive at scale.

So we’ve migrated all ~230k users into 100 shared canisters, meaning new users now cost almost nothing.

Time to grow!

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

@Angel_xlz We haven't looked at our X DMs in years. They're just full of thousands of spam messages. But we respond quickly on OC.

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

@Angel_xlz There is no way to regain access without signing in via the Internet Identity account you used to set up your OC account. If you can't sign in to that, then you'll have to create a new OC account.
There is no way round that, by design.

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

@Angel_xlz The only way to access your OC account is to sign in via any of the sign in providers linked to your account (Internet Identity, Passkey, Email, etc.).
There is no way round that. If you're unable to sign in via your previous methods then you'll have to create a new account.

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

@plsak When OC launched each new canister cost 0.1T to create with no ongoing base fee.
A few years ago that fee was increased to 0.5T.
Then a few months ago each canister started charging a base fee of 0.4T per year.
It was at that point we knew we had to prioritise changing.

Since 2021, I've been using @OpenChat in all my projects, almost on a daily basis. It's one of the most mature apps built with #ICP tech.

I wish there were more users for OpenChat. It's not only a good demo of what blockchain can do, but also of what Web3 really means.

And it could be a very potent WeChat killer if needed.

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

@Angel_xlz You will need to head over to the Internet Identity site and migrate your internet identity to v2 https://t.co/yRxI8e0oog

Once you have done that you should be able to log in fine.

Can you crack today's puzzle?

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

@Damiaan0ss @oisy @NFIDWallet It isn't enabled yet on the Android app. Is that what you're using?

[OpenChat ∞ @OpenChat]

You can now send crypto within OpenChat directly from @oisy and @NFIDWallet! 💸

A tab will open Oisy/NFID where you can approve the transfer, avoiding the need to first deposit into your OpenChat wallet.

@mosesibb This is the architectural re-jig towards multi-user canisters. It's a complicated change!
