I’m not a huge Andrew Tate fan, but this interview is interesting. At the end, he claims governments manipulate the 𝕏 algorithm.

This raises questions in light of recent 𝕏 developments: waves of thousands of accounts facing bans or monetization losses in a single day, conservative posts being flagged for ‘hate speech,’ the mutuals boost in replies, bot purges, and the timing as Elon has been relatively quieter on international censorship pressures from the EU, Brazil, and others.

The mutuals change means we see far less opposition or stranger replies unless accounts follow each other. It gives the comforting impression of ‘oh look, it’s all my friends again!’ while keeping us in our little proverbial cages—less exposure to challenging views. Cleaning spam is positive, but this feels like a slick way to control visibility and conversation flow.

I’m not saying it’s all coordinated, but when platform changes and enforcement spikes coincide with global demands for more control, it’s worth examining.
