News: Open Net Battle releases version 2.1, new trailer and website
The @OpenNetBattle team recently released a major update, along with a slick new trailer showcasing tons of user-created content already in the game.
Happy 25th, MMBN series!

Just a visual update from this one. Spirit of Cyberbeast Falzar coming to help and turn the tables against Alpha. @OpenNetBattle More work with @DarkwarePX432 got a lot more to come in the future.

Been having a lot of fun working on this stuff with @DarkwarePX432 . Gregar Beast Bass summoning the spirit of Cyberbeast Gregar to help him out in a pinch. @OpenNetBattle#mmbn
@imHangyaku@Jonathan_Blow Yes. It's exceptionally well written. The author presents a deeply intuitive framework for linear algebra I wish I had read sooner. I recommend for everyone interested in the subject.
This navi mod is too cool. "Phoenix" triggers near-death and wind pushes Bass back into his last row; shifting the odds into the player's favor! What a power struggle!

Today @OpenNetBattle gain another oficial netnavi as playable char, after some days drawing ows and extending battle sprites we finally has bowlman, he still use base megaman attacks but in future i will code his skills
If someone has to ask "whats the difference between this and that?" - it's not different enough. Eyes don't lie to us like words do. "It was made with different tools". A different paintbrush can still paint the same picture. "There's more features". The harder homework was done.
Other lessons I learned in this project:
- Build teams slowly. No matter the talent, not everyone is a good fit.
- Your generosity does not make you weak. If someone takes advantage of your kindness, it does not make them strong.
- You cannot reason with the unreasonable.
If someone's art is cool, then the copy of their art will also be cool.
This does not mean that the copier's ability to copy was cool. It actually admits, silently, that the original artist's work was cool.
This applies to anyone's work including code.

I learned a lot of lessons with this project.
Be picky about who you accept **help** from! Some people will weaponize their time and help against you.
As the saying goes "There are those that will sink the ship because they cannot be captain."

Please be patient while we complete 2.5! This is a labor of love and made for free. :)
@VexLurker89@Rayo_Ivan@LautrecLautrec@OOWhira@Shanuguy A main server breaks the rule of decentralization. If a main server goes down, everyone goes down. Meanwhile a server in ONB can have warps to other servers entirely outside of their control. When 2.5 is released and overwrites the player mod session stats, this will be seamless.
people that copy projects and call it their own sound like this:
"yeah i stole ferraris design but i changed the headlights and the bumper so its my car design essentially"
@HolyRabbid Did you ask the creators for their permission? Did you give credit where it was due?
Artwork is someone's work and their labor of passion.
If you didn't. Then it does seem like a minor hiccup that can easily be forgiven if you reach out to discuss and credit them.
@VexLurker89@LautrecLautrec@OOWhira@Shanuguy Too true. It's really simple to spin up a server (map area) in ONB. Servers can include a whitelist of allowed mods. There are members who own servers which are balanced. ONB 2.5 will overwrite session values so you can login with your mod and it will be overwritten.
