MEPC 2025 - Popular Vote is now open!
Our organisers have done a great job, anonymising the entries and posting them on Flickr so that you can admire them and, importantly...
*** Choose your favourite and vote for it ***
Full instructions at https://t.co/pY6mOnHzQF
Take a look at past entries to see what appeals to judges... is it colour? Composition? Subject matter? Geology? Technical ability? Informative annotation? Or, as one of our Presidents said: "one that I would like to see on my office wall"! https://t.co/pzP0sCxma7
MEPC 25 - Closing date 21 June... five weeks to go... Time for OUGS Members to sort out their favourites to share with the rest of us... and you never know, you could win a prize! (URL in next post)
This weeks geowalks are looking good with visits to Dunure, the scottish highlands and Stonehaven. There’s still spaces left for Stonehaven and the Scottish highlands for those interested.

Lovely to see the virtual attendees at AGM, but...
I was so very sorry to hear that the Zoom sound last Saturday was not good especially after you zoomers had made the effort to register and attend the meeting and lecture🙁
We'll do better next time.
Link for the AGM zoom meeting and lecture is now in the Members Area under 'AGM'. Please do let us know if you're attending by completing the form at the top of that page as it will speed things along.
