Today, the overwhelming turnout at the Congress election campaign meeting held at Nagabandha under the Lahorighat LAC reflected a strong public sentiment.

The people of the Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency have once again stood firmly for unity, harmony, democracy and development. The massive gathering at Nagabandha sent a clear message — people do not want the politics of communal division; they want peace, harmony and inclusive development.

Shri @subhankar_cong , President, WBPCC has written a letter to the @ECISVEEP today, seeking clarification on the whether 22.21 lakh appellants with appeals pending before the Appellate Tribunals in West Bengal, would be allowed to submit Form 6 for re-enrolment during “Special drive” for enrolment being initiated in West Bengal. Letter is enclosed for reference.

मैं झारखंड में निर्वाचन आयोग की DG (IT) सीमा खन्ना के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज कराने जा रहा हूँ। हालिया खुलासों के अनुसार, इन्होंने ECINet और ERONet सॉफ्टवेयर के जरिए डेटा का केंद्रीकरण (Centralization) किया है।

इसके चलते स्थानीय चुनाव अधिकारियों (EROs) के वैधानिक अधिकार छीन लिए गए और वोटर लिस्ट से लाखों नाम मनमाने ढंग से गायब कर दिए गए। यह लोकतंत्र और चुनावी निष्पक्षता पर सीधा हमला है।

मैं तेलंगाना (@INCTelangana ), कर्नाटक (@INCKarnataka ), हिमाचल प्रदेश (@INCHimachal ), @INCKerala और तमिलनाडु (@INCTamilNadu ) से भी अपील करता हूँ कि वे अपने राज्यों की मतदाता सूचियों की सुरक्षा के लिए सीमा खन्ना पर तुरंत कानूनी कार्रवाई करें और FIR दर्ज करें।

IMPORTANT: After facing flak for over 13 crore deletions in electoral rolls during SIR exercise, Form 6 changes without due process and centralisation of software that finalises the rolls, ECI has gone into DAMAGE CONTROL.
