To know that you’ve grown up and you’re going to be wealthy, normalize these things:

-It’s okay to drive the same car 🚘 for 10 yrs plus. Wealthy people don’t change cars anyhow . I learnt this from. @wekesa_amos. He’s the same Land Cruiser for over 14 yrs.

- Stop giving money to anyone who asks for it urgently. Also don’t give them the exact amount. If they ask for 50k , skip a day and give 20k.

- Normalize eating at home. Stop ordering foods nga ate Olina emikono egifumba. Home cooked meals will always be the best.

- Keep your phone until it actually needs replacing. Stop chasing new iPhone models yet you’re still struggling with rent.

- It’s not a crime to buy something “used”. Buy it if makes a sense. The Landrover I drive all over this continent I bought it used. Am the 4th holder but it still a performer.

Ugandan politicians have no shame. First they sit a press conference on the fact that there is too much corruption and government is doing nothing about it. The President appoints an aggressive young pair to fight corruption and they sit another press conference of talk about how wrong the methods of fighting corruption are and how how these aggressive methods will lead to government losing money in court cases. This is an MP who will take 315 for a car and they got another one just five years ago. They really care about government losing money I can see! You buy a car of over 200m and in five years it is down and out?
