Hadrian's Wall - Day 4. Chollerford to Newburn. 29.86km. 462m climb. One more day & 17km to go! Almost a straight line, with some magical paths through woods. Dan & Amy are pressing on despite the wind and rain, hills and fatigue, the gates and stiles, the cows, & sheep. #run

Day 2 of Dan & Amy's Hadrian's Wall run - Carlisle to Greenhead. 32km. ☔ A lot of rain today! 🏛 Our first sightings of the Wall. 😮‍💨 Really tired! But a nip of whiskey at Birdoswald (thank you @EnglishHeritage!) kept us going for the last 8km🥃😁

Hadrian's Wall day 1-Bowness-on-Solway to Carlisle -25km. Despite broken down buses Dan & Amy have started! The early route passes through delightful villages, along the shoreline of the firth, through cow fields, and then along the banks of the river Eden. Here's to day 2! #run

Fueling up the right way! Dan’s starting his day with a solid bowl of porridge before taking on yet another morning run. The right nutrition makes all the difference when training for a big challenge!

10 pepper corns - the piperine assists the body in digesting the curcumin (the active compound in turmeric)
Bananas, Raisins and dates - natural sugars for easily accessible energy
Satsuma - natural sugar, vitamin C, and the peel is a good source of fibre and antioxidants

OppO’s very own Dan is busy getting ready for something big. Training for hilly terrain is great if you live in the hills… but not so easy if you live somewhere as flat as a pancake. Dan’s making do, but let’s just say May’s challenge won’t be quite this forgiving!
