📊 My team and I recently worked on a wonderful abase (GTD) from Kaggle, which contains over 180,000 of terrorist attack from 1970 to 2017.

Our main objective was to uncover critical elements insights around terrorism globally.

📈Insights
▪️Certain regions had higher terror activities (Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan)
▪️Certain Periods recorded spikes in attack ( Year 2000s)
▪️Certain weapons dominate attack patterns (Explosives and Firearms)
▪️Over 936,000 casualties from 1970 to 2017

🔶 We were able to identify high-risk regions, uncover various trends, explore the weapons used, frequency of attacks, victims involved and different countries affected.

✅ Cleaned and transformed 100k+ rows of raw data using Python, Microsoft Excel and Power Query.
✅ Created calculated measures and columns.
✅ Developed interactive dashboards for visualization using
Power Bi
