Christmas preparations are well under way at Newport City Dogs Home but it's no fun spending Christmas in a kennel. So if you're a registered walker please try & pop down for an hour over the festive season & give a dog the gift of your time 🎄🎁🐩🐕🐾💙

@OptToAdoptNCDH Aww Enzo needs his furever family! 🐕❤🐶

[Opt to Adopt @OptToAdoptNCDH]

We want to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers & supporters over the last 12 months. We couldn't do what we do without you.
Tonight, 20 dogs at Newport City Dogs Home with only 16 kennels. It never ends. But we enter 2019 with more determination than ever to carry on.

Walked this sweetheart yesterday. His name is Bentley and he’s looking for his forever home. He’s a cross breed. He’s very friendly and walks well on the lead. Really hope this lovely boy can find a home soon 🐶 He’s at @OptToAdoptNCDH

@oldiesclub So delighted that our oldie girl in the twilight years of her life has landed in the best home she'll have ever known 😍

This is Danny. A 5-month old pup who’s only happy when he’s sniffed everything (at least 3 times). Happy for cuddles when he’s satisfied he hasn’t missed anything. 10/10 people would wait patiently. #AdoptDontShop

[Victoria Hockley @victoriahockley]

This is Keiko, a handsome husky pup. As he’s only 6-months old he’s still adventuring & discovering new things. 10/10 of people would love to be his adventure buddy. 🧡 #AdoptDontShop @OptToAdoptNCDH

@PdStellaGlosPol Thank you Stella! We've got 20 dogs in 16 kennels today but each and every one will have a walk, presents and Christmas dinner. Hopefully new homes for them in the new year 🤞. Merry Christmas to you and Quest as well as your fur-brothers & humans 😍🎄🎁

[Opt to Adopt @OptToAdoptNCDH]

Merry Christmas!!!!
Registered walkers don't forget we are walking between 10am & noon today so leave the sprouts for later and head on down to take one of the 20 dogs at Newport City Dogs Home out for a Christmas walk! 😍

[Opt to Adopt @OptToAdoptNCDH]

Dinner is taking shape with turkey, beef, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puds, roast potatoes and parsnips done. Now to crack on with the green veg, carrots & swede. 🍗🥕🎄🐩🐕🐾💙

Literally no room at the inn for Newport City Dogs Home tonight.
16 kennels.
20 dogs.
To the people who have dumped their dogs this Christmas, we have two words.... Bless You! 😠
In the meantime we'll crack on with Operation Christmas Dinner ready for tomorrow! 🎄🍗🥕🎁🐩🐕🐾

@FranDonovanTV @cardiffdogshome Thanks Fran! Christmas preparations are well under way for the dogs at Newport City Dogs Home. Turkey & beef arrived yesterday. All the veggies are now bought & being prepped. Pressies are wrapped & the walkers are ready to work up an appetite on Christmas Morning. 🎅🎄🎁🐩🐕💙

This is Priya. She didn’t have the best start but is learning to love life again. Happiest when splashing in puddles & tying humans up in her lead. 10/10 would gladly be held hostage by this staffie girl. 🧡 @OptToAdoptNCDH #AdoptDontShop
