NOT ONE PIPE.
A GLOBAL COORDINATION SYSTEM.
Cardano’s approach is layered:
• Secure settlement layer
• Parallel local scaling
• Faster consensus
• Smarter data flow
Different tools solve different problems.
The Leios roadmap to solving the blockchain trilemma
Leios is moving from research to testnet – taking the first steps to scaling Cardano’s L1. Decoupling transaction diffusion from sequencing builds the foundation for later integration of advanced scaling techniques such as SNARKs, data availability sampling, and UTXO sharding.

As one of the official interim-CEOs of Cardano today, I have some announcements to make.
- The SPO call was full today with good participation. Everyone is preparing for the Van Rossem hardfork. SPOs are upgrading to 11.0.1 release to ensure they are ready.
- I have had 3 meetings with development teams and all are still building.
- I'm personally working on a demo wallet for @Shield_USD on Midnight. The guts are working and I'm on to the fun part of the UX. @iamwilco has some amazing designer skills.
@JureKaramarko The liars, manipulators and cheats will always push narratives that tear down others. We're down but never out. Those who are here for noble reasons are here to build a better world. I'm here for that.
Cardano needs a PR manager.
There are so many great stories to tell but the focus has gone negative.
Perhaps the ecosystem should hire a company?

@georgie_fen@CashAnvil@IOHK_Charles Having passion and sharing his perspective is good thing. You're the one who sounds like you're playing the victim. The Cardano movement is only going to grow stronger, even if it has to fork to shed the whiny non productive faction.
@99boosterjabs@CashAnvil@IOHK_Charles What are you still doing here? The mission hasn't changed. The tech is solid. The upgrades are coming. Save your fake concern/fud. It will do you no good here.
Most developers don't care about UTxOs, eUTxOs, validators, reference inputs, or any other Cardano primitive.
They care about solving business problems.
Every project we've shown Tx3 to agrees on one thing:
making Cardano protocols feel like consuming a normal API is probably one of the fastest paths to adoption.
Your friendly reminder that the upcoming @MidnightNtwrk hardfork is when partners like Monument bank will start building the next generation of financial services on mainnet🔥

I'm excited for 2027 Cardano governance.
This 2026 version is the biggest waste of resources I've ever seen in my life. I have faith that the founding entities will make the required adjustments, because this governance nonsense is destroying the community and making the business environment horrible.
Even worse, its producing pretty much the same result, as founding entities are getting all the funds. Absolutely no business value whatsoever. What an absolute drain.
We will still submit a proposal, but dReps have fatigue and are just saying no to everything at this point. I feel sorry for everyone that we even have to deal with this.
Imagine if we could've taken all the funds wasted on governance and spent it on ecosystem growth initiatives?
If we don't see major adjustments to Cardano governance in 2027, then we are cooked. This has to stop.
@adamKDean Most of the people making noise on X are not qualified to make high level decisions. The largest hurdle in Cardano governance will be establishing an expert class of decision makers for each category of funding. Maybe this already exists, or is being formed, I hope so.
Depending on ecosystem maturity these ratios would change. 35% infrastructure, 25% R&D, 15% developer ecosystem, 10% governance/accountability, 10% biz dev/marketing, 5% reserve.
The treasury is what allows the chain to remain independent of being overly influenced by capital rich outsiders.
It allows the chain to fund development that would otherwise be ignored because there is no obvious ROI. So I agree with you, not everything has a way to follow tidy KPI's and that some things should be done even though there may never be a qualitative metric to justify it. But whereever it makes sense I would rather see it loaned. I would like to see it used to create a massive reserve the way Link seems to have accomplished.
