@Dezachu Being in a disciplined team with strong values like "it's not who's right, it's what's right" requires you to check your ego at the door (this was hard for me fwiw), be vulnerable, and hear things you instinctually don't want to. It's no small ask, and 1 no ruins it for everyone.
@Dezachu Where 1 is a hard pad, 2 is a glass coated cloth pad (Artisan Shidenkai), and a Fnatic dash is in between a 4 and 5 perhaps, I think the same sorts of pads I use might be just right for you. Look at Raiden xsoft and Hien mid from Artisan, and Chuan Yun and Kun Lun from Esptiger.
@BernadetteBagel we're planning on playing Root with our group very soon, i'll let you know what we think!
as for Everdell, it's my favorite competitive game. i cannot recommend it enough, we've probably played it 50 times.
@BernadetteBagel love this, great collection. my bf and I have been working on ours a ton this year (and there's more hidden in the bottom right cubby!)
@masoneclark I probably would. Chalice is your best piece to slow them down, and you will very likely be able to evoke (or even cast) a fury by the time they produce relevant threats. Without a plausible route to ever casting footfalls, I like scam better in a topdeck fight.
@LSXYZ9@312321313131fa I am also an "i just want to win" type, and FWIW modern is a lot more my speed. it's popular, there's a huge variety of viable strategies ones, and people expect that mindset.
EDH players will get mad at you if you win too good. Real cEDH is hard to find, especially impromptu.
@Dezachu Disco Elysium is probably the best single player game i've ever played.
Inscryption is well worth a play, especially if you're totally unspoiled on it.
Celeste is still my favorite platformer to date for a ton of reasons, but the smoothness of the gameplay is a big one.
some men, sickened by the serpent's request, return home and tell their families of failure. others, determined for glory, have only been waiting for the words.
I'm really excited to announce my first charity stream!
