That's the mentality of a winner.

When Casemiro arrived, plenty of people talked about trophies, experience and leadership. What they rarely mention is that elite players don't join clubs just to collect a wage. They want to leave a mark.

Whether people agree with every part of that statement or not, nobody can question how much he cared. You don't get emotional talking about a club unless it genuinely means something to you.

I’ve started seeing Manchester United fans, especially the Mark Goldbridge minions, saying we should have signed Andoni Iraola instead of Liverpool, as if Michael Carrick isn’t miles better than him.

These are the same people who wanted the club to sign Baleba and sell Bruno Fernandes last season.

Honestly, if I wasn’t a United fan, I’d probably be one of their biggest haters because our fanbase are so ungrateful, imagine the disrespect after everything Carrick has done for us.
