I’ll still stick around, and who knows, maybe I’ll be more active eventually. But for now I’ll probably continue to lurk in the background, at least for the time being.
It’s been quite a while since I’ve been active on here. I’ve been extremely busy and it’s been harder to go visit the parks as much as I used to, and I think for that reason (and the fact that Twitter is kind of a mess nowadays) I’m going to quietly sunset this account.
@DisneyDragon@21royalstreet I guess I supposed that Disney is a big enough company that they could have figured out a good fall safety solution for that area during one of the prior refurbishments
@21royalstreet I still hate how they never bothered to replace the burned out light panels in the “powering up” tunnel. That’s literally an hour tops of work assuming the electrical isn’t broken
@MouseInfo This feels like something thought up with good intentions so its more normalized to use it and doesn’t wind up feeling like it’s an embarrassing thing to have to use… but I also wish they had one tucked around a corner for people that would rather discretely test it out.
What’s with Disney and giving Pixar the short end of the stick in the parks? I feel like Cars Land is the only Pixar related thing that’s wowed me, the rest feels done on the cheap or just not that interesting (looking at Toy Story lands, sorry not sorry)
@DavidMDaut I honestly feel like the movie is pretty solid up until maybe the jungle chase, then it starts to feel a lot weaker. I think the ending could have been a bit better if they had made it a little more mysterious and subdued. IE maybe imply the dimensional beings don’t outright show
@BTBullion He’s all for small government… except when he uses governmental power to punish a company for using their first amendment rights. I should be surprised at the hypocrisy but at this point it feels like it’s the norm
@guyselga You also don’t really get penalized if you just want to ride along and enjoy the scenery, unlike Smuggler’s Run (which I like mind youF but older people in my family don’t).
@hastin If the avengers are canonically neighbors to the Disneyland resort, was Spider-Man pro or anti harbor bridge eastern gateway????? Did Tony stark lobby against it? This is the lore I want to know!
@21royalstreet I’m surprised they didn’t just seal up the existing door and leave it as is, especially considering they put in the effort to save *some* of it (probably so they wouldn’t have to completely rebuild it but still)
