No sir. My church was formed in 1846 as a member of a United Baptist Association. It was legally armed from churches tracing their identity back to the Separates and Regulars, which were the original Baptistic denoms outside of the General (Freewill) Baptists. My sister church down the road is circa 1815. So prior to the Triennial Convention. We hold as well as do must United’s, Old Regulars and Primitives to a strict Amill perspective and would strongly debate this foolish and novel perspective. This seems to be a wonderful representation of 1 John 2:19, and why we discontinued fellowship with such bodies.

I do agree the current political parties are deplorable. We have in essence the Democratic Party which is mainly a socialist regime either a a dem facade, and then the Republican Party which just lags 5 years behind in accepting the other parties values. Can’t help feeling that this is just subversion though of the highest order. I would much like to see who is contributing to this movement.

Some of the pastors on here have softer hands than my 3 year old daughter. That’s unfathomable to me. Do not cite the qualifications for ministry against women (which I agree on) when your claim at manhood is as repugnant as it is. This is why Shepherds should be like Paul making tents and earn their own way. Callouses do not hurt a ministers hands, but they strengthen his resolve and give unction to his speech.

1. Then why are we still actively funding/participating in securing their ethno-state? Why do they choose not to make Aliyah?

Christ less Conservatism is never a viable option because it’s like building on the sand.
Christ-centered conservatism is the only answer even if it doesn’t affect immediate change. We can only build upon the rock.

This in a way continues the vindication of all the local Baptist associations in the 1830’s that declined participation in the Triennial Convention. The largest point of deference was the implementation of para-church ministries which are not proscribed in scripture. Those older brothers seen that these ministries while they may be good in aim were not under the direct control of a local church and therefore would void the autonomy of local churches. Also, they correctly presumed that God had said in his word what he would have for the church to do and anything outside of this was the equivalent with the son’s of God laying with the daughter’s of men. It seems this is a continual repetition of events: men form xyz ministry for God glorifying purposes, men succumb to the lust of the flesh and fall prey to mammon, the original mission of said ministry is perverted and the institution is led farther and farther adrift. In more radical cases we see that these institutions actually can lead astray entire denominations via their missions boards, seminaries and etc. There are some true counterpoints that can be attributed to our conception of the implementation of the regulative principle so robustly. However, instances such as these and the ones provided by NAMB definitively solidify the concerns we have raised for 190 years.

My specific tradition of the Baptist faith called this in the 1830’s. Para-church ministries are not Baptist. They violate local church autonomy by creating unbiblical institutions outside the purview of the local church.
