Just to clarify — the person staring through the hole was in fact a man, perhaps in his late twenties to early thirties. When I noticed him watching me, he quickly turned away. That’s when I figured it out. However, afterward, he kept staring at me and wouldn’t turn away.

My apologies — I should have told this next story before the previous one.

This happened in the mid-‘80s:
I’d accompanied my mom to a Kmart in the Coquitlam/Port Coquitlam area. (IYKYN).
My mom was doing some shopping, so I decided to explore the rest of the store. Anyway, I remember I had to use the washroom. So I get into one of the stalls, and as I was taking care of business, so to speak, I noticed a hole in the side of the partition looking into the next stall. Not even a minute later, I saw someone staring at me through the hole. I remember being so damn scared — luckily,
I could hear other people in the washroom.
I finished up as quickly as possible and got the f**k out of there. I looked around the store for my mom, but I was so shocked, scared, and even embarrassed that when I found her, I didn’t even tell her what had just happened.

END OF STORY.

P.S. — This thread is continuous, but I’m trying to finish it off as soon as possible. Once that happens, I won’t be bringing this topic up again, because
at that point my healing will be complete.

I have reason to believe that the staff at the
2nd-stage housing where I’m staying has been notified about my life outside of the community — and that they have known for quite some time. Unfortunately, this means the trust I had built with everyone has been compromised.
