#UP4014 Rolling Back into the Shop after a Long and Hard Tour

Union Pacific's Big Boy No. 4014 returned to its Steam Shop in Cheyenne, Wyoming, following a historic 93-day coast-to-coast tour celebrating #America250. The tour included Big Boy’s first return trip to eastern rail lines since 1941, made possible through a partnership with @nscorp.

#UP4014 visited communities from Sacramento to Philadelphia, making more than 75 whistle-stops and 16 display day appearances, bringing railroad history to life for thousands across the nation.

To every person who waved, photographed, cheered and shared in the experience: thank you for helping make this tour one to remember.

Rest in peace to the voice behind every walker in the Walking Dead series 🙏

The Walking Dead: Dead City dedicated its Season 3 premiere to veteran actor and voice performer Rif Hutton. The episode ended with the message, “In Loving Memory of Rif Hutton,” three months after he passed away at 73 following a battle with glioblastoma.

Hutton had contributed to The Walking Dead universe since 2010, providing the growls, groans, and chilling vocalizations of its walkers. According to franchise chief content officer Scott M. Gimple, he was the only actor to work across all seven series: The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, World Beyond, Tales of the Walking Dead, Dead City, Daryl Dixon, and The Ones Who Live.

Beyond the franchise, Hutton was known as Dr. Ron Welch in Doogie Howser, M.D., Lt. Cmdr. Alan Mattoni in JAG, and Lenny Caulfield in General Hospital. His extensive voice work also included Shark Tale, Rio, Hotel Transylvania, ParaNorman, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Rif Hutton may have remained unseen as the walkers, but his voice helped make their world feel more frightening and real. He helped bring the dead to life, and his work will remain part of The Walking Dead forever. ❤️
