Yesterday, I was in Strasbourg, France, to attend sessions at the European Parliament.
While there, I spent the day holding a series of constructive meetings with several members from various committees, from the Committee on Foreign Affairs, to the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, to the Members of the Africa-EU Delegation Committee, to the Committee on Transport and Tourism, and Development, amongst others.
I appealed to them to strengthen their relationship with Africa, especially Nigeria, which stands as a key frontier for global development. Africa, as I reiterated, is a continent of immense potential, the second-largest in size and population, richly endowed with natural resources, and powered by a vast, youthful demographic. Yet it remains the face of global poverty, largely because of bad leadership and entrenched corruption, a reality clearly reflected in Nigeria.
I urged them to support the development of Africa, particularly Nigeria, by advancing good governance. This includes supporting our democratic processes in ways that promote the emergence of competent leaders with the capacity and integrity to transform our nations.
I also highlighted how they can support us in addressing insecurity, improving power generation and distribution, strengthening education and healthcare, and lifting our people out of poverty. This is necessary because our success as a nation and the success of Africa have a direct benefit to Europe.
I also underscored the need to invest in and support Nigerian youths who have an immense desire and drive for entrepreneurship and productivity, if well supported, but are now facing despair due to limited opportunities.
Africa and indeed Nigeria can and must work for all and contribute to global developments.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
There is no way you defend this useless @OfficialAPCNg govt without sounding like a buffoon. He can't even put a simple sentence together. His syntax is even worse than d failed govt he struggled to defend.
It Would Be Evil for Deltans to Vote Against Tinubu in 2027 Because Heβs Our In-Law β Governor Oborevwori
Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has urged residents of the state to support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, citing the presidentβs family ties to Delta State through First Lady Oluremi Tinubu.
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television, the governor said Tinubu is the only likely presidential candidate with a direct connection to the state.
βAmong the candidates that emerged, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the only one that has an affiliation to Delta State,β Oborevwori said.
He further described Tinubu as an in-law to the state and argued that it would be wrong for Deltans to vote against him.
βThe man is an in-law here, and it would be evil to vote against your in-law. Itβs a family affair. In the South-South, the people in Delta are saying this is their own. They were deceived before; now they canβt,β he stated.
The governor also praised First Lady Oluremi Tinubu for strengthening support for the president across the state, particularly among the Itsekiri people.
βThe First Lady is holding the state strong, and no Itsekiri person will vote against Tinubu. No Urhobo man will because their son is the governor,β he added.
Oborevwori also defended the Tinubu administrationβs economic policies, saying the federal governmentβs reforms have improved revenue available to states and enabled them to execute more projects.
βThe confidence we have is in the people. His reforms and programmes are working very well. Sometimes when I commission projects and tell people we have money, itβs because of the reforms. If they are not working, we wonβt get money,β the governor said.
His comments come months after First Lady Oluremi Tinubu received the traditional title of Utukpa-Oritse of the Warri Kingdom from the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, during a ceremony held in Warri.
Where are the cows?
That was the imbecilic question that the βmaster strategistβ asked years back.
We have to decide whether to allow this wicked and soulless politician continue ruining Nigeria or send him packing from the Villa.
Voting for or supporting a dictator whose preoccupation is amassing wealth, state capture and agbero politics will always have disastrous consequences.
Innocent children are teachers are going through horrible experiences in the hands of terrorists, but a so-called Jagaban is busy politicking and some people are applauding him.
Tinubu is a plague.
Just yesterday, I told you that the INEC ICT Deputy Director's main task is to compromise the 2027 election.
Today, we found out that Wike and APC loyalists have direct access to INEC's secure backend Admin Center.
How did it get into their hands?
Why are Nigerians not asking these hard questions?
Where are the opposition political parties?
Former Deputy Senate President Sen Omo Agege resigns from APC and joins NDC..
This is coming days after losing senatorial primaries in the APC..
Sooner, I expect to see Sen Pa Ned Nwoko to also join the NDC..
The way it's going, likely they will get senatorial tickets in NDC..
-Will these staunch Tinubu supporters sincerely for NDC to win elections?
-If they eventually succeed in NDC will they not defect back to base afterwards?
"SHHH, WE'RE BEING WATCHED": THE SULTAN'S 7 MAY STATEMENT, TRANSLATED
On May 7, 2026, the Sultan of Sokoto stood in Abuja and made what his publicists called a bold condemnation of Islamic extremism.
Read it carefully.
"Anyone that takes innocent lives while shouting 'Allahu Akbar' is
going to hell."
That is not a condemnation of killing.
That is a condemnation of shouting Allahu Akbar.
Killing innocent people β fine, apparently. Just keep it quiet.
Don't say the phrase that ends up in survivor testimony. Don't say the phrase that ends up in news footage. Don't say the phrase that gets quoted in U.S. State Department reports and congressional briefings. Don't say the phrase that makes Trump pay attention.
The killing is not what disqualifies you in the next life. The
audible religious branding of the killing β bad press β is what disqualifies you in this one.
"Let us stop bringing religion into it," he said in the same speech.
"Call them criminals. Not Muslim criminals, not Muslim terrorists,
not Muslim bandits."
Translation: Strip the religious marker. Keep the operation.
Two and a half weeks after this speech, a Lagos publicist named
Haroon Ishola Balogun published two articles attacking me by name, quoting this very statement as proof that the Sultan is a moderate and my work is "false narratives" that "demonize an entire religion."
The lobbying machine had its line, courtesy of the Sultan himself.
Here is what the May 7 statement actually was.
It was operational guidance.
It was instructions to a fluid network of fighters who do their
work under different brand names β Boko Haram, ISWAP, Lakurawa, Ansaru, Fulani militias, bandits, kidnappers β telling them: keep killing, but tighten the optics. The West is watching. Survivors talk. Trump is paying attention.
Shhh! We're being watched.
The Christians keep dying. The Muslims who refuse to bow keep dying. The villages keep burning. The children keep being kidnapped. The displaced keep being forced into a hellish existence β denied by the government, steeped in trauma, far from home. The mining trucks keep rolling through the cleared ground. The platform keeps building for the Mahdi.
Just don't say the slogan out loud.
That is what twenty years of institutional protection of genocide looks like in one sentence from one Sultan on one day in Abuja.
I read it carefully. You should too.
