It's National Badger Day! Did you know, a male badger is called a boar, a female is a sow and a young badger is called a cub! Another fun fact, badgers are very tidy and regularly clean out their sett bedding, and it is the males that do most of the chores!

Quinn Park et al. examined the long-term governance impacts on crab fisheries in the Ankobohobo wetlands in Madagascar. Their paper, published in Marine Policy, marks the 659th paper that Operation Wallacea has been involved in!

Peru 2024 has begun!
School groups are currently taking part in a one or two week course whilst travelling and staying on historically restored Amazon rubber boom ships, and at this stage our groups have just got themselves to the boats ready to get started!
