Bitcoin has Weekly Closed just above the 21-week EMA (green)

Which means price is technically positioned for a retest of the EMA

The problem is that there is very little space for the retest to breathe, making it very easy for BTC to drop below the EMA

Bitcoin will need to try to hang at these highs if the retest is to be successful

The Sharpe Ratio helps evaluate how much excess return an asset provides for every unit of risk. Essentially, it tells investors if the returns are worth the inherent uncertainty.

Recently, Bitcoin $BTC Sharpe Ratio plummeted to -43, a level of extreme risk-off sentiment. However, we have seen a recovery to approximately 20.35.

This transition from negative territory suggests that the market has processed the volatility and is moving from a high-uncertainty phase toward a more favorable risk-adjusted environment.

S&P 500 IS RALLYING ON EMPTY VOLUME

And that's exactly the problem

When price goes up but volume stays low - it means there's no real conviction behind the move

We saw this exact setup in early 2025:

1. Low volume rally - price goes up, nobody's really buying
2. Volume picks up - first warning sign, distribution begins
3. High volume sell-off - that's when it gets ugly

Right now the same picture is forming again

I'm not saying the dump is guaranteed, but when volume finally returns to this market, it won't be buyers leading the charge
