Why This Matters

External Liquidity exists outside the active market structure and signals major turning points.

Internal Liquidity exists inside the active market structure and usually fuels continuation.

The Cycle: Price commonly bounces back and forth, moving from ERL to IRL and back again.

ERL is where the real turning points of the market live. When price pushes past a major swing high or low, it triggers a large cluster of SLs. The market takes these out to fuel a move in the opposite direction, often causing a deep pullback or starting a new trend.
