1 Samuel 8 says that tribute is the nature of kings (the State), Luke 20:25 commands us to give to kings, Romans 13:7 flatout commands us to pay tribute, 2 Peter 2:18 commands us to serve even froward masters. If the State demands a tribute, you must pay it.
