It’s simple . To protect a characteristic , define that characteristic, as a tangible constant . Not to do so weakens protection . Ring fencing a characteristic doesn’t mean you’ve removed validity of a separate but equally valid group 🤷‍♀️

Already I am being contacted by people vulnerable to suicide, who are terrified that the State Suicide Service - whether in the proposed form or the inevitable revisions - is coming for them.

I am truly disgusted at what this country is saying to those who are vulnerable.
