I made a 3-minute short film entirely with Seedance 2.5 on @capcutapp 🎬THIS IS REX🎬
And for the main character, I chose one of my favorite birds: the Shoebill.Really excited to finally share this little story with you.
I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed creating it. 🖤

MR. GURGLESON'S MIDNIGHT HOUR
Premiering Tonight.
One hour. Uncut. Uninsured. $5,000,000.
A public access late night kids show for adults.
Sit too close to the television.
Do not adjust the fog.
𝐌𝐫. 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫
Not a short film. One (1) full hour. Uncut. Uninsured.
The budget was $5,000,000. I want to be transparent about where it went, because people ask. It went into the fog. All of it. The fog is a $5,000,000 asset and it does not depreciate, it expands. That is what the money bought. I would do it again.
An exploration in style, non-linear storytelling, and a mind plagued with end stage capitalism.
EVERY SINGLE PROMPT... FREE!
Instead of just doing a behind the scenes, I thought, what if I shared ALL MY PROMPTS? So, here you go!
'Salty' on Milanote:
https://t.co/pAbE8dGg3a
Milanote is basically a large canvas where I organized everything. IT IS NOT MOBILE FRIENDLY, so view it on a browser. Hold down COMMAND and scroll to zoom in and out, and SHIFT to scroll horizontally. Each scene has a folder. Double click on the folder to enter into the scene's canvas where you will find all the prompts. Once in a scene folder, look at the top left of the page to see the navigation, so you can navigate in and out of each scene folder.
In this video I break down exactly what I'm sharing and then walk through how I created 'Salty' on the @capcutapp Creator Studio.
A massive thank you to @capcutapp for producing 'Salty'. Head over to their Creator Studio to create something amazing!
Such a range coming out of the CapCut Seedance 2.5 Challenge so far 🔥
Erzen's cel-animated coyote-and-bird chase is a great example. Tons of cinematic movement and comedic timing, packed into one continuous shot in @capcutapp
Really enjoyed working with Jordan. He’s an artist. It’s always great to support creators as they explore different styles of filmmaking and bring BEAUTIFUL ideas to life.
What makes something beautiful?
For centuries they said, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", meaning you get to decide what's beautiful, and no one can take that from you.
Now, they want to take that back. Now, they want to tell you what's beautiful, what is art, what is creative, and what is worthy.
The good news is...
Who cares what they think?
Who cares what they say?
They have no power.
Their words are dust.
You decide what's beautiful and moving, exciting and entertaining.
Art is yours to love or hate.
No amount of gold and worship placed at the feet of one piece of art should sway us to value it. And no screeching voices, or shrill cruelty demanding you surrender your opinions should steal it away.

Hopefully this little film exemplifies that Seedance 2.5 have completely changed the game when it comes to performances. I have NEVER been able to get such perfectly dialed emotions, even with SD2. This was the first time I was actually moved by a performance.
I felt something real.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you head over to @capcutapp Creator Studio, select Seedance 2.5, and see what kind of performances you can bring to life. We have enough fight scenes where no one gets hurt, sweeping aerial shots, and dragons breathing fire to last us a lifetime.
Let's try something new because now... we can.
I made a 3-minute short film using the new Seedance 2.5.
Its biggest strength is character realism: facial acting, body movement, interactions and dynamic camera work all feel far more natural.

Seeing as the litmus test for new video models are fight scenes where no one gets hurt, I thought I'd start testing performance.
Here's my PSA: "They Don't Know What They're Talking About", made with Seedance 2.5 on @capcutapp
DOWNLOADS available for the memes. Go nuts.
I threw 10+ character images into Seedance 2.5.
It managed to include them all into a 30 second video, interacting together.
With a much more detailed prompt there is some potential here!
Created with CapCut.
People are complaining that #Seedance 2.5 doesn’t support 1080p instead of celebrating 30-second generations.
Longer videos mean fewer generations, better continuity, and more consistency.
Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’ll trade resolution for duration any day.
/// @capcutapp #Seedance25
Seedance 2.5 30 second dialogue test. Also it renders skin so organic. I honestly prefer it this way. Yes its a bit blotchy in lowlight but that will clear up eventually. Which take do you prefer? #CapcutCPP
Seedance 2.5 is finally out!
Indie filmmakers just got a serious new weapon:
· 30s native takes
· up to 50 ref images
Here’s exactly how I made this short in @capcutapp (prompts included) 👇
