What is branding? Do you have a brand? (Personal or Business)
These questions will help you define what your (your brand) stand for. Hopefully, you'll stay true to that.
As business, what is your biggest pain point? Is it sales? Is it marketing? Is it customer satisfaction?
Fixing customer satisfaction issues almost always fixed sales and marketing problems.
In the words if Jay Levinson, "Don't change your ads when you are tired of them. Don't change them when your employees are tired of them. Don't even change them when your friends are tired of them. Change them when your accountant is tired of them."

2. Ghost in the Wires
3. The Art of Invisibility
4. The Art of Deception

My greatest lesson in matters service provision is adopting discovery sessions immediately after the client signs the contract.
During the discovery sessions, I listen to the client and ask meaningful questions about the client's business and general operations.
