@Jaren_Briggs@DrRichardWerner@federalreserve@scientificecon With no new money being added to a system, people's money gains value over time just by saving.
When you do QE (even for productive business), it may not cause price increases, but the value of savers money would still be less than it would be with no new money.
@Jaren_Briggs@DrRichardWerner@federalreserve@scientificecon I also want you to explain to me how QE for productive business isn't theft.
When you add more money to a system, it devalues the money in circulation no matter what that money is spent on, which means savers get robbed.
@DrRichardWerner@Jaren_Briggs@federalreserve I figured that as a "doctor of economics", you would understand that "Nuh uh" isn't a valid counter argument. I honestly want you to prove what I said wrong, because my goal is truth, not being right. I just don't think you can because it's common sense.
@DrRichardWerner@Jaren_Briggs@federalreserve Would love to know why you think it wouldn't. You're adding more currency to a system. Even if it's a productive investment, there's still more currency in the system that wouldn't have been there otherwise, which would has an affect on prices regardless if it's productive.
@Jaren_Briggs@federalreserve@DrRichardWerner Money printing is money printing is money printing. No one should be the bank in monopoly. Bitcoin is the true answer to all this nonsense. You can't control an economy top down.
@Jaren_Briggs@federalreserve@DrRichardWerner What Werner misses is that QE for Productivity would still make prices higher than they would have been without QE. Quantitative Easing for productive business is still inflationary, just not in the sense of increased pricing, it would keep prices stable when they should drop.
@ejmoosa@federalreserve It's been this way since 1913. Nothing's gonna change until the whole thing collapses & then something worse will probably be implemented like socialism/communism instead of the only true/fair system, Austrian economics.
@ejmoosa@federalreserve This stuff isn't rocket science. They know what they're doing. They'll continue to rob your purchasing power & you'll continue doing nothing about it. That's the world we live in buddy.
@Jaren_Briggs@federalreserve@DrRichardWerner They don't care. I agree with everything you said besides the Richard Werner QE stuff. I've seen his QE for productivity theory & even though it may not be inflationary, it still creates new money & prevents price decline. QE of any kind is bad. No new money or the game is rigged
@moatpatrol_@AdamBLiv and that's not the only thing pushing BTC's price up. It's the best store of wealth humanity has ever seen & multiple corporations are doing the BTC/dollar arbitrage, pushing the price up even further.
@moatpatrol_@AdamBLiv He has over 2 years worth of cash reserves to pay dividend payments. Being that it's priced in fiat currency & that fiat currency is constantly being debased, that alone would make Bitcoin's price rise (assuming the demand stayed exactly same)....
