Just to follow on from my posts yesterday there are still plenty of other avenues being explored other than legal action. Legally we are right but that doesn't mean it's clear cut. This type of legal action is hugely expensive (could be £millions) which we wouldn't be able to do.
Had a busy couple of weeks trying to complete my research into #footballindex although GC keep declining FOI on Index Labs application so clearly hiding something. However what GC did get right, eventually, was the definition of the #footballindex product, their KC gave opinion..
My slightly more comprehensive response to the acting CEO of @GamRegGB regarding their controversial choice of an ex #footballindex Director to lead their Industry Forum panel.
Fucking Hell. In my head my money is 100% covered by the FSCS reading this. From an operator who only provides sports spread bets via the trading ledger.
So we have a supportive MP who is actually taking time to understand the #footballindex issue rather than just sending letters which don't get answered. Looks positive. I am preparing a report over the next 2 weeks for the Solicitor and the MP to set out the legal case!
Happy New Year! I have managed to complete my letters to FCA and Treasury. This is their last chance before I commence legal action on behalf of the entire community of #footballindex victims. I am confident we will win. AI research is confident we will win. I just need a
I have always maintained that @GamRegGB should never have licenced #footballindex and that there was enough info before the platform started in Oct 2015 that a diligent regulator should have picked up on @fionatwycross and 1 employee agrees with me.
One step back yesterday looks like two steps forward already this morning! Need my game face on for this afternoon. Wish me look #footballindex survivors!!
In the interests of transparency here is my revised complaint letter to FCA - it is 7 pages long with supporting evidence that has been emailed to them this morning! Feel free to tag your MP to make them aware that the #footballindex scandal is still very much continuing!!
I don't know where to start. Loads going on behind the scenes on #footballindex - it's actually quite overwhelming the amount of new stuff to go on! the problem is I trust nobody apart from fellow victims.
Based on the latest FOI I have just received regarding #footballindex I really do think it's time you called me in for a meeting @DCMS@lisanandy@fionatwycross my diary is pretty clear!!
The #footballindex scandal appears complicated but is actually very straightforward. All this Government have to do is convince me that @GamRegGB provided Betindex a licence for a gambling product. Difficult when I have written evidence that the GC KC provided advice that it was
I have run out of patience keeping this secret @LucyRigby@hmtreasury here is @TheFCA being asked, specific to the acquisition of a sports spread bet company, questions about regulation. Their response to CMA (a non-ministerial government body) is that...
Do any of my #footballindex followers work in financial services where original copies of the FCA Perimeter Reports 2019/20 (12/11/20) & 2020/21 (21/10/21) would be available? Colleagues/friends etc that work in financial services compliance
On 19/9/25 CMA (a non-Ministerial Govt. Dept) published the revised report into acquisition of Sporting Index (100% sports including spread bets) by Spreadex. These are the only 2 companies regulated by both @TheFCA and @GamRegGB in the UK.

@fionatwycross@lisanandy I will be sending an unredacted copy of this letter to the @DCMS inbox today. I would welcome a swift response and meeting to discuss this latest kick in the teeth for @fi_action and #footballindex victims. I will be raising this with my MP
