@SadlyItsBradley I would have thought that long term, optical passthrough would be the best bet if you want people in the headset all day (lower battery consumption, less worry about refresh rate ect)
@SadlyItsBradley Headset -> PC as quick as possible with an option of standalone as an open source platform would be 10/10. Make headsets more like monitors, less like phones with walled gardens imo.
@oleivarrudi Some of my favourite online experiences involve the player looking at me, crouching twice and waiting in a "please respond" kind of way. The old school recapture of online gaming
@oleivarrudi I've always enjoyed multiplayer games with strangers but I fell in love with the experience when I saw the "spy crab" emerge in TF2. No voice chat, just crab. Everyone you are playing with or against is just looking to have fun. People make the fun, games just give us new toys.
@SadlyItsBradley It makes sense that they try to decide what should and shouldn't move while building their anchor points. I wonder if it stores the anchored points of interest with a "confidence" score or something that over time if it moved it would just "re anchor" those points.
@Kev_Bayliss@RareLtd@TheBrendonian@David_Wise I think you might have a hand in at least 50% of every game I played growing up. The music and funky text animations in that game were amazing. But damn that final boss
