@ksorbs Property tax is one of very few legitimate taxes. One of very few actual duties of government is military to protect territory. If you own a piece of the territory you should participate in funding military. Having said that, this tax should not be higher than 0.1-0.2 percent.

@FoodProfessor Any idea how many of those 33 percent lived through the 80's in Eastern Europe? Because I know there are many of them in Canada. Many of them migrated in the 80's, when most of Eastern Europe had government run grocery stores.
