Our mobile libraries were out in force today, visiting all our year 7s. A huge thank you to Lilly and Jenelia, two of our student librarians who helped Miss Hill with this task today at tutor time
Today’s tutor time reading session had a very special guest. Teddy was very well behaved and listened with great attention to the reading of “Booked” 😁
Celebrating #HarryPotterDay23 with a sorting wheel, photo props, activities, Staff dressed up. And 30 selected students have been rewarded and are watching the first film.
Celebrating #NationalPoetryDay with special tutor time reading sessions this week: listening to some poems on “refuge”, discussing what it means to us, and trying to fist our own haikus. Some great responses, especially from our Year 7s. #workhard

Reading a little and often about things that interest you can take you away from the day-to-day and boost your mood. It could be an interview with your favourite band, or a review of a film with a puzzling ending. Try it for 10 minutes and see where it takes you.
