Mine Apple with an Apple. Run your Mac or iPhone in the browser for 15 min, get paid in tokenized AAPL · TSM · MU · QCOM on Robinhood Chain. Proof of Fruit.
This is what mining Apple with an Apple looks like.
One page, one button. Your Mac runs 15 minutes, the rings close, a voucher gets signed, you claim on chain and the treasury pays you in tokenized AAPL.
No install. No token to buy. Verified contract.

Update. Four things shipped.
Night shift. Tick one box: runs chain themselves, every voucher is claimed gasless, it keeps going until you stop. Plug in, leave the screen on, wake up paid.
Vouchers never lost. Every signed voucher stays in your browser for its 7 days. Claim it from the runs list, any tab, any time.
Network page. Paid per day, miners, and how much each token can still pay today. Every number read from the contract.
Fair share. One wallet takes at most 25% of a token's daily cap. No single machine drains the day.

$ORCHARD
Coming to the App Store.
ORCHARD, the iOS app. Mine Apple with an Apple from your home screen: one tap, the rings fill, you get paid in the companies inside your phone.
Can't wait? It's already on your home screen today: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.

Three days in. 13 wallets have mined, 31 runs paid, $5.47 out of the treasury, every cent on chain.
The leaderboard reads straight from Claimed events. Wallet, runs, streak, what the treasury paid it. Nothing we typed.
One wallet did 11 runs and took $4.98 of it. That's allowed, and it's why the leaderboard is public: you can see exactly where the money went.
Thank you to the twelve others who tried a three-day-old instrument. The treasury refills with the runs. https://t.co/6Rh94xprdt

Every run is a card now.
Claim a run, tap "Share this run", and the link unfurls on X as a card rendered straight from the chain: what device, what it paid, in which tokenized stocks, which transaction.
Nothing stored, nothing edited. If the card says it, the chain says it.
Mine, claim, post. https://t.co/uZUa6FcOe0

Your phone runs a transformer now.
ORC-05 is live. Not a benchmark that looks like AI: a real transformer layer in WGSL on your Apple GPU. QKV projection, 4-head attention with softmax, output projection, GELU MLP. 128 tokens, d=256, 24 layers deep, every layer feeding the next.
Measured on an M4 in a browser: 2,751 tokens per second through the full stack. It alternates with the matmul during every run and is paid like any other work.
Random weights, nothing kept, nothing sent. The score now means something to the people who buy compute.

What we could do to you. And what we can't.
There is one privileged key in ORCHARD: the settler that signs vouchers. Could it sign a voucher for a run that never happened and pay itself? Yes.
What the contract stops it from doing: taking more than 5% of any token per day, touching tokens already in your wallet, paying a voucher to a different wallet than the one signed, or hiding any of it. Every payout is a public Claimed event.
Trust us as much as that list allows, not more. https://t.co/uZUa6Fdm3y

What a VCU actually is.
Every run is scored in one unit so a Mac, an iPhone and an iPad get paid on the same scale.
1 VCU = 40 TFLOP of GPU work, or 1 TFLOP of CPU work, or 800 GB moved through unified memory. Measured, not estimated. A 15 minute run on an M4 is about 12 VCU.
Rate: $0.01 + $0.009 per VCU, times the governor. https://t.co/POyAG4KpS1
No account. No email. No tracker.
What leaves your device during a run: your wallet address if you connected one, your device class, and three numbers for the work done. That's the whole list.
What never leaves: what your device computed (random noise, discarded), your files, photos, contacts, location, name, phone. There is no form for any of it, and no analytics on the page.
One static page, four functions, one contract. Read the network tab. https://t.co/uZUa6Fdm3y

Eight layers. Six of them pay you.
Take an iPhone apart: Corning glass, a Samsung or LG display, the Apple logic board etched by TSMC, SK Hynix and Micron memory, Qualcomm and Broadcom radio, a Sony camera, a battery, an aluminium shell.
ORCHARD pays you in the layers that have a real stock token on Robinhood Chain, and says plainly which ones don't. We don't invent tickers for a battery.

Site update. $ORCHARD on your home screen.
It installs like an app, without an App Store (for the moment) 👀. Its own icon, full screen, no browser bar. The screen stays awake during a run and your wallet is remembered.
iPhone: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
Mac: Safari → File → Add to Dock.
Then tap, and close your rings.
Also today: the keynote countdown is retired, the run screen was rebuilt for phones, and devices with WebGPU switched off still mine on CPU instead of being turned away.

Cooking something.
$ORCHARD on the iPhone home screen. Its own icon, full screen, no browser bar. One tap, the rings start filling, the split shows where every cent of your run goes: Apple, TSMC, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Corning, Micron, ASML.
Recorded on an iPhone 17 Pro today. Still tightening a few things before we call it done.
Two billion Apple devices. We want every one of them to have this on the home screen.
Soon. https://t.co/uZUa6FcOe0

Site update. Two numbers, now honest.
01 · The feed counted a rolling window of blocks, which read like a total. It now says the real total, rebuilt from every Claimed event since the contract was born: 10 paid runs across 7 wallets, the latest ones paid across seven makers in one voucher.
02 · The token page reads the dead address live. 1,597,216 $ORCHARD burned, 0.16% of supply. A balance anyone can check, not a number we typed.
No indexer, no cache, nothing we could edit. https://t.co/uZUa6FcOe0
Thank you for trusting a three-day-old instrument.
Six wallets have mined and been paid on chain. The two latest runs are the first ever paid across the whole supply chain at once: AAPL, TSM, MU, QCOM, AVGO, GLW, ASML in a single voucher.
Small numbers, real numbers, all public. Every one of you took a chance on something new, and every claim is on the feed for anyone to check.
The treasury grows with you. https://t.co/q7P5xw8Wyi

A Mac has no modem. So it pays no Qualcomm.
The instrument proves your device class and the reward map follows what that device is made of. iPhone: Apple 40, TSMC 26, SK Hynix 9, Qualcomm 8, Broadcom 5, Corning 5, Micron 4, ASML 3. Mac: Apple 46, TSMC 30, SK Hynix 10, Micron 5, Broadcom 5, Corning 2, ASML 2, Qualcomm 0.
Nothing to choose, nothing to fake. The map is decided by hardware. https://t.co/XexZKemzAJ
Burned.
1,597,216 $ORCHARD sent to the address nobody has the key to. 0.16% of supply, gone for good.
Not a promise, a transaction. Read it yourself:
https://t.co/Aso5naQekw
The dead address balance is public. So is everything else here. https://t.co/7KgKqkv8Cd
Anyone can fund the orchard. Today.
The treasury has a public deposit() with a memo. A TSMC community, a Qualcomm fan, an exchange, a chip maker: approve, deposit your stock token, sign it with a name. Every miner on earth gets paid a slice of your ticker, and your memo lives on chain forever.
We did the first eight. The next ones don't have to be us.
Contract 0xa11308250F122Ce71b72983f2e67D58210c98e4d
· https://t.co/XexZKem1Lb
The cap grows with the treasury.
The contract lets at most 5% of each token leave in a rolling 24 hours. Not a promise, a require(). So the daily budget is one number anyone can read.
$92 today → $4.60 a day → about 150 fifteen-minute runs
$500 → $25 → ~830 runs
$5,000 → $250 → ~8,300 runs
$50,000 → $2,500 → ~83,000 runs
Runs drain it, deposits refill it, both public. Rewards can get slower. They never come from nowhere. https://t.co/XexZKemzAJ
Where the orchard goes next.
Today the treasury is filled by us. That is the beta. The goal is a treasury filled by the people who buy the compute your device produces.
Now: one supply chain, eight makers funded, gasless claims, every number a public read.
Next: an inference instrument so the work is worth buying, App Attest so the run is provably from real Apple hardware, the $ORCHARD gate, a sponsor deposits page.
Later: buyers pay for verified compute, their payments buy stock tokens into the treasury, miners are paid by demand, not by us. Then other supply chains, other orchards.
Same instrument, same contract, a different source of money. https://t.co/cDKTX8c4lB
The biggest idle compute fleet on earth is not in a datacenter.
It is in pockets and backpacks: two billion active Apple devices, the same eight-company supply chain inside every one of them, and a browser that can now talk to the GPU.
FAB proved the mechanism on desktop cards. We pointed it at the fleet. Mac, iPhone, iPad. One page, one button, nothing to install.
