@saltshaken 3 is a prequel where you play as Naked Snake (also Big Boss) so if you kill certain characters or do certain things you create a time paradox

@ScratchAE__ MGS was supposed to end with 2, which is why 3 was a prequel. But when it came time to make 4 there was basically only crumbs of a story post ending of 2, which is why 4 has extremely long cutscenes explaining context about the next mission because there pretty much isnt any
