One year ago today, ORE introduced virtual mining on @solana.
Mining no longer required specialized hardware or an electricity arms race. Anyone could compete for newly issued ORE, with the additional incentive of accumulating unrefined ORE.
A year of iteration and refinement later, the principle remains: fair distribution, open participation, and a monetary design that rewards patience.
All you need is a Solana wallet.

Nicholas Oresme warned in the 1300s that rulers would inevitably “clip” or “lighten” coinage.
Jefferson said the same about paper notes.
Both understood the same truth:
Once a sovereign can alter the money, they eventually will.
We’ve normalized this power so completely that we forget how strange it is:
Your money can be stopped mid-flight because the issuer, or one of its satellites, disagrees with your behavior.
This is the endgame of every centralized monetary standard:
The mint turns into an instrument of enforcement.
The ledger becomes a map of the people.
The people become programmable.
Bitcoin was supposed to be the great exit.
But most crypto systems reproduced the same trap.
Founder keys.
Admin overrides.
“Pause” switches.
Consensus changes that require elite blessing.
Modern coins still have mints, just smaller, more opaque ones.
This is why $ORE has a reason to exist.
It asks:
Can you create a standard unit of money without granting anyone the ability to weaponize issuance or settlement?
The answer is only yes if:
– The contract can’t be upgraded
– No account can be frozen
– No admin can rewrite balances
– The rules apply identically to the founder and the newest miner
Lock the mint.
Erase the master keys.
Make the ledger indifferent, even to its creators.
That’s the real revolution Ore is waging:
Not faster transactions, not cheaper fees…
but monetary exit from coercive architecture.
The Ore mint program is frozen.
Read that part again. Yes, it’s indeed frozen.
Not even its creator can now change max issuance or max emissions rate.
Non-sovereign money is a door.
And once people realize they can walk out, the mint loses its teeth.
What can you do to join?
Buy ORE. Mine ORE. Covet ORE.
$ORE is massively undervalued
Up 15% today while the market is red, +134% in the last month
$3.7M/month revenue ($130K/day avg) with 99% going to buybacks, burns & stakers
Only 510K circulating supply out of 3M max and over half of that (280K) is already staked
Their buyback system is unique, the ORE Reserve places buy-side liquidity below spot so dips get auto absorbed
All of this at just $88M mcap which is CRAZY
Do y’all hold any?
BTC vs ORE: A Comparison of Durability
__
Bitcoin is called Digital Gold but Gold does not need to be kept alive.
If you bury a gold bar in the dirt for 2,000 years it requires zero electricity, zero maintenance, and zero human attention. It just exists, surviving passively, not decaying for generations.
Bitcoin does not work that way. It must consume billions of dollars of electricity every year just to keep its history from being rewritten.
When the last BTC is mined, block rewards disappear, leaving transaction fees to secure and sustain its ledger. IF those fees don’t materialize, the network starves, security drops, and the asset perishes.
Bitcoin has an expiration risk.
$ORE changes the paradigm entirely.
If everyone stops mining $ORE today, the tokens already in circulation simply sit there on Solana. They don't require continuous mining to remain recorded on Solana.
Because $ORE sits on top of Solana, it doesn’t have to maintain and fund a separate L1 network. Solana pays for its own survival through its massive ecosystem utility and fees.
So $ORE, like physical gold, can just exist as an immutable element on Solana surviving passively, without decaying.
And there’s more.
Through $ORE’s buyback & “rebury” loop, $ORE captures capital from economic mining activity, buys tokens off the open market and recycles them back into the system, within the 3 million supply cap.
So $ORE on Solana not only preserves the asset, it preserves the opportunity for future generations to participate in mining.
Comparatively, $ORE’s SoV properties are structurally closer to Gold than Bitcoin.
- Scarcity that endures.
- Participation that continues.
- A digital asset/SoV that doesn’t have to keep being mined to exist.
