We are beyond excited to finally release the long-awaited Anvil Update 3. This update has been in the works for months, making it arguably one of Orebound’s biggest updates to date.

In this update, we wanted to focus on UI improvements and adding new, highly-requested features. A full description can be found on Steam, but here are a few key elements to this update:
The Deepseeker
Ranged weapons
Explosive Goblins
Building System Overhaul & New Building Materials
Reworked Hunger System

So I have been testing out a lot of new games lately from small indie creators and projects, and I have to say, hands down, without a doubt, Orebound is extremely fun, goofy, and a good way to get you hooked into automation genre games. It delivers a fun thrill of slashing enemies and not too much, but a good amount of farming that becomes more enjoyable as you progress. If Satisfactory was a lot to handle at first, this game would definitely be a good way to ease your way into automation-style games and then take that leap into Satisfactory or even Factorio, as both of those games can definitely turn away the common player with all it pushes onto you at once! I also want to note this game is still in active development so it will have issues and bugs, I’m not saying the game is perfect right now it does have its flaws but, as someone who has actively put in close to 50 hours I’ve not ran into any game breaking problems, only issues I’ve ran into is flying across the map when throwing an explosive barrel ahah!
