It's election season and with over 100 candidates running for 12 city council seats across 4 Districts in Portland, our membership researched each candidate to make our first voter guide - which also includes suggestions on the statewide ballot measures.

Most of these ballot measures strengthen democracy in Oregon and improve worker's rights - especially 119 making organizing easier for cannabis workers.

118 seems good on paper, but it has numerous issues that may end up not actually helping Oregonians in need.

Oregonians have multiple ballot measures to vote on in the upcoming November election.

Our suggestions:
- YES on 115, 116, 117, 119
- NO on 118

On Saturday hundreds of community members across numerous organizations took to the streets in Portland for Palestine!

It's been one year of genocide and our demands are still:
- Immediate ceasefire
- Arms embargo now
- End US aid to Israel
- End the occupation
- Free Palestine

We're launching a petition against PGE's 18% rate increase effective 1/1/2024 and the scheduled 10.9% increase on 1/1/2025

These increases are purely fueled by corporate greed - as seen by the CEO's salary increasing hundreds of thousands of dollars.
