Oregonians, Sit for a spell, listen up.
We’re staring down another governor’s election, and I need every single one of you to stop sleepwalking through this. Quit the party line autopilot. This isn’t about red or blue tribalism. This is about whether Oregon keeps sliding or finally turns the ship around.
A vote for Christine Drazan is not a vote for Trump. It’s not a vote for MAGA. It’s not a national loyalty test. It’s a vote for an Oregonian who knows this state, who has lived the same pressures you’re living, and who refuses to keep rubber stamping the same failed playbook. Stop letting the other side define the race for you.
A vote for Tina Kotek is four more years of exactly what we’ve already got. Look at the numbers that hit home right here
Homelessness hit 27,200 people in the 2025 statewide count, up nearly 19% from the year before, and far higher than when she took office and declared an emergency on day one. Multnomah County saw some of the sharpest jumps. Hundreds of millions spent, thousands of shelter beds added, and the tents and disorder are still there.
Oregon dropped to 42nd in CNBC’s 2026 ranking of the best states for business, the lowest spot in the history of that ranking. We were 17th not that long ago. Cost of doing business? 43rd. Business friendliness? 43rd. That’s not abstract. That’s fewer jobs, slower growth, and families watching opportunities leave for states that actually want them.
Gas prices in Oregon have sat well above the national average around $4.74 a gallon when the rest of the country was closer to $4.00. That’s real money every time you fill up to get to work, take the kids to school, or run a small business. Housing production still lags the ambitious goals, and the cost of living keeps squeezing paychecks harder than incomes can keep up.
That’s not theory. That’s the scoreboard in Portland, in the Willamette Valley, on the coast, and across rural Oregon.
You want principles? Start with this one, results matter more than slogans. If the last four years delivered safer streets, affordable lives, working schools, and a state people want to stay in, then defend it. If they didn’t and the data says they didn’t, stop pretending another term of the same will magically fix it.
This election is simple. One candidate owns the record we’re living under. The other is offering a different direction for Oregon without the national baggage the other side wants to hang around her neck.
Stop voting the brand. Vote the outcomes. Vote like the future of this state actually depends on it, because it does.
Oregon first. Results over rhetoric. That’s it. 🇺🇸 🐺
Did you ever think to ask yourself.. “maybe I should try business before attempting to tell thousands of businesses how to operate - profitably?”
you have risen to the top of our states government not because of any accomplishments, but because you have wormed your way there - shamelessly working the unions and the NGO’s and reactionary leftist politics.
You know too little and have never made a payroll with money you earned. So spare us and have some shame. Jeez
@oregoncitizen_@SageOfTheMtn I guarantee you there are no doctors leaving the United States to go work inside the Canadian socialized medical system - where they get paid $35 a patient visit. That’s not happening. This is a media myth.
@DemGovs@TinaKotek At what point do you stop abusing our good nature with your gaslighting? Unlike most of you carpetbaggers in the campaign, our ancestors crossed a continent to build this state, not suck it dry and move on like political locust.
